Graffiti
Lower easi side in Manhattan used to be a very experimental area in the 80s, with lots of homeless, neddles (from drugs) in the street, etc. Now, with the gentrification of Manhattan, this area is much more expensive than before. Cool and hip clubs thrive in this area, as well as graffiti on buildings, like this one. The graffiti in the photo was on Houston Street.
